Subject: PRAISE REPORT

Praise the Lord! Last Saturday evening I was riding the train home when a
young woman with a large bag caught my eye. I felt that somehow I should
talk to her, but was uncertain how to go about it. Honestly, I was a
little afraid that perhaps it was just my flesh because this girl was very
pretty. So as I sat across from her I would keep looking up but then back
to my book. One time as I looked up I saw that she was looking at a small
booklet and smiling, I recognized it as the songbook for the Hi-BA
Christian camp. I immediately asked her if that was where she was
returning from and she said yes. As we talked I found out that she had
just made a commitment to Jesus Christ that week at camp. She was worried
about where to find a church and Christian friends near her home. Both
her and I were totally amazed at God's plan to put her on the same train
as me and to start the conversation. Less than one percent of Japanese
are Christian and the odds of sitting across from a new believer who needs
fellowship are very slim. God is so good! Pray for Aya, she lives one
stop away from my house and attends the same high school that my wife used
to attend. Pray that she will grow in grace and become a woman of God who
can lead many to the Lord Jesus Christ.
