Subject: Praise Reports

Dear Prayer Partners,

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! Psalm 150:6

Do you have anything to be thankful to God for in your life? Do you have a reason to praise Him? Some of you will say "Amen!" and print off a list of counted blessings to fax to me. For others it might take a while to sift through the "bad news", the trials and tribulations, to find the silver lining in an otherwise cloudy future. I am constantly reminded of God's mercy and goodness by something that most people don't even think about at all. There, it happened again. In fact while I have been writing this it has already happened a few hundred times. It is more precious to me than gold or silver, fame or prestige. Really, I could not live without it. God gave it to me before I even knew Him. When I rejected Him and walked my own way He continued to faithfully supply it. In fact if I were to be so foolish as to refuse it, He would give it to me anyway. It is an ever present reminder of God's love for you that will never leave you from birth until the day you die. Breath.

Let's pray that we can recognize all of God's gifts, receive His mercies that are new every morning, rest in His faithfulness that lasts from generation to generation, trust in His lovingkindness. Pray that we would never stop praising God!

Praise the Lord! Last Wednesday night we had a wonderful start for the fellowship in Yokosuka! The brothers and sisters there are hungry for the Word and eager to share Christ with others. We talked to the head Chaplain on base and received a wonderful welcome and full support from him. Pray that this fellowship would grow and become a place where many can come to be nourished in the walk with Christ.
