_Room for Squares_ is great, so I'm looking forward to this one.

If any CD is going to live in your CD player, that is one of them.

I haven't been listening to a lot of *new* music lately - I'm still listening to my favorite Yes CDs just like I've been doing for the past 12 years. ;o) I also have been listening to a 2CD live set from Peter Gabriel's recent tour. Each show is being made available online. This show is from the end of June and features one of the rare summer performances of "Sky Blue" with The Blind Boys of Alabama. Great stuff.

The one *new* CD that I really love is David Bowie's album from last year, _Heathen_. Such a great, moody, atmospheric work, but also contains the gritty rock sound that he has been returning to since _Outside_. Songs like "Slow Burn" and "Everyone Says 'Hi'" in my opinion are just as good as anything else he's ever done. Fantastic vocals. The way he sings some of the songs are so emotional that they will cripple you. I don't even know what that means...but it sounds good. :O)
