aku ambik course ni (jour 1001: intro to mass comm) masa aku freshman dulu (2nd semester); dia ni jenis course "double-dipper" (i.e. penuhi dua theme sekali).

jadi, amnya, seperti yang diketahui umum, kalau tengah berdarah freshman ni, ambik course apa-apa pun, macam mana punya palat pun dia punya isi, bosan mati keras pun dia punya lecturer, akan rasa macam best (apatah lagi bila subjek ni bukan subjek typical (i.e. tak disuruh ambik dek departmant hangpa kalau nak dapat degree).

syor aku: sangatlah baik enroll dalam course ni kalau tak nak tengok diri sendiri bersempit-sempit dalam satu lecture hall dengan kaum kerabat melayu malaysia 15-20 orang sekali. kalau tak, masa dalam freshman year tu, kelas fizik pun kongsi ramai-ramai, kelas kimia pun sama, kelas calculus pun ya, kelas writing pun sama gak.

stay sane. keep your ego happy. find a course that no ones else knows about and then, brag excessively.

p/s: try this one that I taking this semester - "Japanese Films" (Jpn 3166). will watch everything even slightly Japanese: classic anime, silent black-and-whites, modern yakuza noirs, art-house sex/samurai epic.
