Subject: Sorrow

Vision reared, stumpled and fell. Death came swiftly. She lay there looking with eyes that no longer see. Her young filla comes over

"Mother?"

"Mother!!!"

"Mother you can't die!"

But twas already over. Her filly could not go on. Her heart just broke at the sight of her befallen dam. She lay silently weeping beside her. She looked up briefly.

"Farewell Father."

Sobbing still

"I cannot go on."

She lay on her side, sides rising and falling slowly.

"I loved you always."

Tears splashed the soft dirt as she lay her head down on her mother's still warm hide. her sided still heaving. A last tear slid off onto her mother's still warm, dusty, hide. She breathed once more then her eys closed. Her Spirit now free. Her petite hear slowly stopped beating.
