Subject: Player Profiles

I have recently spoken to 'Mad Dog Milsom' and whilst doing so i put across an idea i have been playing with for some time now.

How about a player profile section on the message board? I know how popular 'Mad Dog' is and even so i was still suprised by his rapid response. I have been inundated with txt messaging and e-mails since Saturday.

So here is the first player profile, and a new one will be posted next Monday.

Name: Jordan Albert Milsom

Age: 23

Height: 6'0 FT.

Weight: 12 Stone 5 Pounds.

Favourite Position: Centre back or central midfield.

Team Nickname: Mad Dog

Profile:

Jordan starting playing football at a really early age, which was much a dissapointment to his father. His dad, was North England and North Wales regional Judo champion three years running. Although Jordan says he tried Judo on numerous occasions it was football or nothing.

At the age of Eleven Jordan was picked to represent Kirkby Boys Football Team. Here he played in the unusual position of centre foward, scoring a staggering 32 goals in just 21 appearences.

During his teenage years Jordan spent the majority of his time smoking and chasing girls. His football career took the back seat, while Jordan was riding high in the hot seat of life. He recalls:

" It was during a school trip to Camelot that i was to realise where my destiny lay. I was riding the Cat & Mouse ride and was sat next to Mr Plunkett my Geography teacher. He said to me, Jordan this ride is like life, cat and mouse. If you dont choose a career now in the early stages of your life, you will always be chasing your dreams. Make them happen now son".

As soon as Jordan got home he took on a strict diet and fitness regeim set up by his father, and packed in the fags and booze, but not the women!!!!

Since then he hasnt looked back. He has played at every possible level, representing his country and even playing stateside for Boston FC.

Now Jordan says he is settled with life at home, and says he woudnt swap a pint in the thand for a gresy American burger anyday. He says:

"Playing for the Saints is an honour, i feel it is where i belong. I would like to end my career here, the fans have been fantatstic to me".
