Town advance to the next round of the cup after a ding-dong battle at Knowsley Road. With a long injury list before the game and ending up playing with 10 men after using all three subs and then getting another injury and defender Gary Kenny having to playing in goal after Ian robertson had to go to hospital with suspected broken fingers! 5-4 doesn't seem too bad a result!
