I wouldn't get too despondant if I was you. I think there are many positives to come out of your display, because for a relatively young team you played rather well. Of course you'll want to see points rather than praise, but I think that will come if you stick with your current manager Paul Lodge...he obviously has the passion for the job. Don't forget that you are probably surviving on one of the lowest budgets in the League, but from what I've seen so far you are far from the worst team we have played this season. So don't be too harsh on the Manager

My only problem with your club in its present state is the fact that we, (visitors to Knowsley Road) get treated like second class citizens by your stewards. (I assume that is because it's their stewards and not yours, as you were always such a friendly club) We couldn't get into the ground until after 2pm, AND THE DIRECTORS OF THE CLUB HAD TO WAIT EVEN LONGER!!! I for one preferred going to Hoghton Rd than the big empty bowl of Knowsley Rd, and feel that you will only benefit if you relinquish your ties with the rugby league giants. That is probably easier said than done, but I think the lack of equality that exists between the partnership, is having a detrimental effect on the club as a whole. Support is lacking and there doesn't appear to be the buzz that was once there. I'm probably out of order venting my spleen about your plight, but I'm a non-league supporter through and through, and I genuinely think you are being short-changed some where along the line. So please don't be offended by what I say, as I would really like to see you re-invent yourselves, but I can't see it happening whilst you play at Knowsley Rd. You have a great & proud history...please protect it.
