Recent study of ancient papyrus have shown that it is highly possible that the number was 616, not 666.

Lets see... Christians were wrong about the Earth being flat, they encouraged the world to become overpopulated by saying be fruitful and multiply to outrageous levels without encouraging birth control, they oppress women, they teach people to sit around and do nothing (pray) rather than stand up and do something about things... Oh, I could just go on and on forever.

They're wrong that the New Testament was written by the disciples of Christ. Wrong that the world was created in 6000 years. Wrong that the Earth was the center of the universe. Wrong that the stars and sun rotated around the Earth. Wrong to take the land from the indians in the name of manifest destiny. Wrong to try and force all of the earth to believe crap by terrorization tactics, teaching the world how to be better terrorists. All in the name of love. Despicable...

And, the irony of ironies, they're even wrong about what they've been terrifying people about for the last thousand years. It wasn't even the number 666, it was the number 616.
