[the mare, watching these antics out of the corner of her eye, snorts maniacally. laughing hysterically, she bends to one knee and gasps for air. still laughing. she carries on for a while, wheezing and cracking up. after a moment, she stops her hysteria and collects herself, breathing easier. one more glimpse of the stallion, still prancing about, and she's off again. oh well, she tried to contain it]
