The muzzle of raven was thrown heav'nward, an angry snort interrupting the pathetic silence which all were trying to attain. He stood for a moment, taunt muscles flinching in annoyance as he tried to gain calmness. Creatures were flooding into his home, thinking he was some savage beast of devourment for them to play games with? The visionary of his great plans certainly did not involve any of this. And the sneaking interrupted him, the sneaking was certainly not good. Détruisent kicked the soggy ground, fog was combing through the unwelcome and obscuring the figures in which he did not wish to be reminded of. Though the understanding of their immortal reasoning escaped his twisted mind, he knew that he wasn't the creature of their imagination. He didn't want this now.

Sleepless raven abhor cut through the fog and stared at a group of obscured figures. Stared hard. Hypocrisy. Savage. Selfish. Prejudice. Conceited. All of it was so alive in them that it made him nauseous.

They understood that his beloved Nerezza was six acres so dear to him that the very vibrations of every untaken hoofprint would not go unknown. Awareness was not his greatest talent, but Nerezza? And his own Stovati?! To think he could be dead to either of them was a greater insult than they could comprehend. All of this reflected in the sable gaze, unmasked for a rare moment.

They knew that he respected them. Though they were enemies, Détruisent took twisted pride in having such highly ranked enemies. Surely a king would not take so much time for a slave? That made him royalty, and when the earth was his he would see the strong rise. And as he respected them, he did not parade into their beloved Silver Coppice nor attempt to steal what was dear to them. For now he would be patient with their fumbling minds.

They had eyes that could see. The state of Stovati was far from pathetic -- she was very strong now, no longer a bag of shaking bones. Likewise, she had become tough and brave and smart. Any witness could testify that she had nothing but improved. Détruisent snorted angrily at the thought of witnesses, they were intruders and he had an abundance.

The stallion kept his unwavering stare through all his thoughts. Take her. Don't even ask her what she wants. You deserve her. He was disgusted with their frame of mind. He reserved the last of his patience, and turned from the scene with his angry snort, the fog slowly enveloping that unpleasant physique as he walked to Mount Enchantment, leaving Nerezza and Stovati and all the unwelcome guests to waste.
