Orbs of raven cast forth, keen auditives tracing the tracks of his captured filly. Ruined earth steals no music from the ebon hooves which carry the steed 'cross the wasteland. He brings Samadee Emira to the north-most wall, halting 'beneath an overhang, takeing her into the caves of Nerezza. 'twould house an army, an army for his empire.

Crazed mind was unaware of the intruder, for perception was his weakness. Although the most aware and cautious of 'quines could not have noticed the hidden one, for sure. Sensing Emira gain more strength, he was sure that she was strong. How much could she endure? Détruisent was ruthless . . . the season to come would bring his unending trial of endurance, keeping Emira in this state of sickness 'till she became strong, each day enduring more . . . and more . . . for the queen of an empire surely could not be weak.

Striding forward into the cave, she thanks this brave intruder mentally. Perception, while not her strongest sense, enables her to understand what this stallion has planned for her. Puzzlement twists her face. Why would a Blackblood want a Silver mate, and why such a young one. Did he not know she was only a child and not yet able to rule, or carry a foal? Glancing at Detruisent, she begins to plot a way of escape once she gains slightly more of her strength back.

The filly fights down the alarm rising in her, for if she did not, 'twoud surely make her give some sign of her presence. A tinge of Mindspeech mixed with Empathy (again, stolen from Mercedes Lackey) lets her know what this steed plans for the filly, and panic very nearly overcomes her good sense. She feels the need to get this filly away from him, and NOW, before 'tis too late, and yet the part of her that is still thinking logically knows that she cannot just rush forth and take the filly from him, for he is powerful, and this she knows. Stealthily she withdraws, sending a wave of mental and undetectable assurance that she'll be back.

Filly looks at captor. Flicker of hate, followed by understanding and acceptance, shows in black orbs. Auditorys pin backwards 'gainst skull. Definace shows in slight body movements. Filly looks past Detruisent for escape route. Seeing none, angry torrent of words flow from mouth. "You are a beast and nothing more. Why did you feel the need to take me? I could have stayed, perhaps I would have died, but this is certain death. What, am I now your slave? You shall have a grand time trying to force me to obey you. I only obey those I respect, which certainly doesn't apply to the likes of you." Stands still, awaiting response, shaking slightly in spite for strong words. Still traces of fear flow through silver veins, but a childs foolishness still stays strong, allowing things said and done without fear as per adults.
