Fairbanks rock bands Kelsa and Three Chord Ho will be playing at the Totem Wednesday and Thursday, July 7 & 8. Doors open at 10 pm, show goes until 3 or 4 am.

Both are up and coming Alaskan bands, playing original rock quite different from what is usually heard at this lattitude. Kelsa is best described as lo-fi indie pop, takes cues from the likes of Weezer, The Renatals, and Death Cab for Cutie. Three Chord Ho is a 4-piece fronted by three girls on guitars and bass. A raucus blend of grrrl rock with just a dash of punk, sort of what happens when hippie folk singers get distorted electric axes.
