Whatever you throw into alcohol as a mixer adds more calories, so make sure you think about that if you order a vodka/cranberry or even a gin/tonic...tonic has calories too!

I have a great alternative to a wine cooler, I use half wine and half club soda or diet tonic over ice, It seems to be doing the trick and it is very tasty. I use both red and white, try to stay away from the white zins I heard they had a lot of surger.

From what I know coolers are around 83 carbs and hard liquor like rum or vodka is 70 carbs.. it all depends on what you mix the drink with.. if you mix with diet then you don't add any calories but if you mix with juice or regular cola then you have to add in those carbs.. as for other drinks I am not sure but I bet they are many more carbs.. hehe.. white wine is 80 carbs where red is 85.. LOL.. depends on what you want but I would stick to the rum and diet cola.. hehe

I just learned that Coolers are the WORST!!! they have 250 calories in 8oz..where a beer has only 125 Cals....Sorry I know this post is old..but, I did not want you to go out and drink a bunch of coolers....LOL
You are really only allowed 1 (8oz) drink per day!!!

ok im a big guy trying to loose weight, and i like to go out and drink, i like beer the most, but i can stop drinking that, i will drink rum, vodka and hard stuff like that, so what is the best to mix with it? and is it that much better then beer, if so by how much.
