Subject: The only thing I find hard to separate is the fact that scientist say the raptors turned into turkeys and some other creature from that age that I posted on here awhile back turned into chickens. So were they really wiped out or just evolved into something else. If the small horses all died out, where did the big ones come from?? ....... Hap you were around back then, exactly what happened??
In reply to: Crystal 's message, "I've read that horses were here. In fact, they evolved here, starting out about the size of a Lab. Then they died out with all the other Ice Age animals. They were RE-introduced by the Spanish in the 1500's. At least that's what I've read and seen. Absorbed by osmosis since Rylen has wanted to be a paleontologist since he was 4. :-)" on 07:52:52 02/19/09 Thu
