Subject: Tragedy at junior rodeo

A 6-year-old girl died this morning after falling off her horse, which then fell on her, at a rodeo at the Churchill County Fairgrounds in Fallon.

The sheriff’s department said the girl was a contestant in the Lions Junior Rodeo, fell off her horse about 9:45 a.m. and succumbed to her injuries at Banner Churchill Community Hospital
