Subject: LJ Jenkins hurt bad at PBR in Oklahoma

Got the following email tonite:
Sunday afternoon at the PBR in OK, City, L.J made a nice ride on his bull.
When he got off the bull stepped hard on his back. He has been at the hospital all afternoon and evening. He has broken ribs, a punctured lung, and bruised kidney. They are running more test for other possible internal
injuries. He will go into intensive care when they get all the test ran and know what all was injured. Please pray for him

Always hate to see that. I notice there was another young NM bullrider doing good at OKC, which was also his first in the big shows, Bo Selman. I have seen all those NM kids ride but don't know any of them, although I know Travis Brisco's dad. Travis is sitting second right now and really riding some good ones. I saw where Taos won the bullriding at the New Year's rodeo in Ignacio, Co. In fact, he won all three riding events. I didn't know he was riding bulls now. (NT) -- Hap, 10:00:57 01/30/06 Mon

  - Seems like those bulls are getting to more and more of them every year. I think all the Florida guys are crippled now.
