Subject: Last week when I said $25.00 would buy you an acre of land on the beach back when guys at the Finals were winning $2000.00. Well today on the front page of the paper, they sold a vacant 1 acre on the beach for 9.7 million dollars.
In reply to: Varmit 's message, "Hap, people are still building, as I am myself. But I got behind when I was so crippled last year. But still have plenty to do and working on it almost everyday. People are still living in some Fema trailers with time about to run out and they are still repairing. All the workers left when Katrina hit New Orleans, so there is a shortage of constuction workers, plus they have all these new housing developements going in, its unreal. So just get roads and then they sit as there is nobody to do all the work........ ZD.. we are really dry. I am rotating right now and getting by. But if it doesn't rain soon, I will have to start feeding. Its warm enough that the grass wants to grow, if we don't get anymore frost. Had a frost yesterday morning and was 82 degrees today. But need the rain and things may change with this flip flopping weather." on 18:35:22 02/02/06 Thu
