No, they didn't make the attempt. I think right now his main concern might be that shoulder, if it's anything like my problems. I broke an ankle and leg at the same time in '65 and they put hardware in there and in a few months, I was healed and did great for 34 years, till they operated on a knee and had me on crutches for 14 weeks. The ankle did the same as his shoulder and so far, after three more surgeries, it's trashed Even had the main ankle joint fused and it still swells up every day and won't rehab.
