Subject: It's the Lewis & Clark Expedition Bicentennial, and there are functions all over this part of the country. Found a booth that sold REAL coonskin caps!! Actually, they are made of rabbit hide, but have a coon tail. He loves it and wears it all the time. It was the first time I've seen any made from real, used-to-be-alive animals! And I don't think they were all that expensive, $20???
In reply to: Varmit 's message, "ZD... them wild hogs are really good sodbusters. I think they can out plow a tractor and disk when they set their minds to it. They haven't been much of a problem here lately, but I been trappin racoons every night. Anybody need some coon skin hats? Hap.. would kind of wild animals you have in your parts... beside women?" on 15:41:09 03/02/06 Thu
