Subject: Hap is waiting for the 100th. I went one time, the last 3 perfs in 1975. Had those nose bleed seats. Actually couldn't stand it and crawled down and watched most of it from the concrete alleyways leading into the seating area. Was lucky enough to get seats closer to the arena floor the last 2 perfs. I'd much rather go watch a rodeo with a seating capacity of about 1500.
In reply to: Crystal 's message, "Hap, thought you might make it to Vegas for the 50th Anniversary Round-Up. Dad is actually going. He went to the NFR one other time, and HATED it. Too many people, had to sit in the stands, etc. He is going to hang out with all the guys he hasn't seen in 30-40 years. Sounds like it would be a fun time. If Rudolph wasn't impending...I'd like to have gone. :-)" on 15:38:14 11/30/08 Sun
