Haven't heard that around here. My son has three trucks for oil and gas work and two of them require a CDL, but the other doesn't. It has to do with the GVW or something and I can't tell much difference in the trucks unless they're parked side by side. Might be a state thing. -- RODEO RAMBLINGS

Its 26,000 pound or over on the 2 rigs. Some dulleys are what around 23000? So even a small trailer would get you caught. I heard they stopping them in Florida, Alabama and Texas for sure. Read where they getting horse show people, rodeo people, cattlemen, etc. It will likely spread to more states, the states are getting money hungry, but they will spend multi-millions to turn a wooded area into protected land. Or re-route a river that ends up flooding people who never was flooded, then spend millions more to put it back to its natural course. Morons, I think is the best description.
