Subject: I was fixing to run a 2 inch pvc pipeline down to a pond about 500 feet from the 4 inch artesian well. Went to turn on the well, and the handle just goes round and round. So got to get the well man to come fix it. Last time he was here he put a new head on the well. That was 1977....lol.
In reply to: Hap 's message, "Hope you get some rain soon. New problems are starting to develop out here. Santa Fe is wanting to pull water out of the Pecos river and pipe it 150 miles. The watershed area for SF is not all that big and for years I've wondered how they plan to supply all those high dollar homes with water in years to come. They may think they can do whatever they please but there's a certain amount that has to flow on down to Texas. Same here with these rivers coming out of Colo that a percentage belongs to Calif. Cities are simply out growing their water source and there's going to be major problems." on 23:28:07 05/03/09 Sun
