Years ago we tried to use a pig 'pregnostigator' to preg check some cows and found it to work better than palpation so long as you could distinguish the fetus from the kidney. Well if you have to check for all those problems every day to find them early you will soon be out of business. A good cowboy can detect most of those problems while riding through the herd.
