I hope they can see what the animal rights agenda is up there. So they got 12 committee's coming to watch to see how it goes without timed events.

Yet the animal rights group after all these years of protesting are going to be to busy to protest this year. Sure, like we were born yesterday. You can bet they know there are other committee's watching and if they can get them to drop the timed events, then in a few years they will go after the rough stock events just as strong as ever. As they state in the article, they still think bull riding and bronc riding is cruel to animals. Then they think the barrel racing is the only non cruel event. Guess they have never studied the injury report in barrel racing. Give them an inch and they will eventually take a mile.

If anybody is protesting it should be the timed event cowboys who were a part of making their rodeo a sucess all these years.

I protested by not going for the first time in a decade. Don't know how it turned out, but I do know that they had a hell of a time filling out their contestant list. Guess the invitees weren't as thrilled with the selection process as the committee was. (NT) -- Albertagirl, 14:16:47 05/20/08 Tue
