Subject: Sorry to hear about everything you have went through Hap. I know its hard to put down an old horse, but at least he lived a long time. I have one 16 now, had one live to be 26. But the one I took the hardest was the one I liked the most in my career that dropped dead while I was on his back at the age of 13. That was the toughest one to take.
In reply to: ZD 's message, "You did right Hap. Hope I can put my old Cricket down when the time is right. Can't keep her with the geldings any more. She is still a pretty horse and the grand kids still ride her but she has to have a lot of bute. Guess I should give it to her every day. A good faithfuly old horse is hard to turn loose of." on 14:31:29 05/20/08 Tue
