Subject: Buddy system.

I asked this question on the PBS board but thought I would also ask it here.
Hope I don't get chewed on by mr1 for asking a dumb question, but I've been wondering about it.
A BB rider left his van here this morning and jumped in with three SB riders and they just happened to get up together all weekend so that works, but won't happen all the time.

I never gave this much thought before, but what is the reasoning with only guys in the same event buddying?
There are times when all four bronc riders will all turn out and if they had a couple of bronc riders and a couple of bareback riders or bull riders, it wouldn't be such an impact on one event with turn outs, looks like.
I know guys in different events try to enter at the same rodeos so they can travel together, but it doesn't always work out.
With the price of fuel, it could help some guys out to be able to travel together.
