Subject: PRCA General Membership Meeting

General membership meeting: 1 p.m., May 8, ProRodeo Hall of Fame, Colorado Springs. Please RSVP.

The PRCA Board of Directors has scheduled a PRCA general membership meeting on May 8, 2007 at 1 p.m. at PRCA headquarters in Colorado Springs, in the ProRodeo Hall of Fame.

With the many positive changes occurring in the organization at this time, the board will use this meeting to open the lines of communication with the membership and address a variety of current PRCA business items, including a PRCA financial report. The informational discussion will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the board.

All PRCA members are invited to attend. For planning purposes, please RSVP to Carol Boyles at 719-528-4774 by Friday, April 20.

Hotel Information: The Colorado Springs Marriott has agreed to extend a special group rate to members attending the meeting. Reservations can be made by call 1-800-932-2151 and ask for the �PRCA Membership Meeting� group rate, 24 hours/day.

- I hauled 34 cows to the ranch on Sat. These cows are all really nice Angus Limmy crosses that are being used as recips. All implanted to calve the same day. As we were loading the cattle I got my hot shot out I was told not to shock these cattle. After the final load was loaded I asked the owner if he ever saw me shock one. He admitted that he didn't. I did shock a couple. People just don't understand that using a hot shot is like using a bull whip. When to NOT use either is about as important as is when you DO need to use one.   - You notice he hangs alot around the area of farmers where probably some of their ancestors were in the range war with the ranchers. After that they moved back to middle America so they could milk their cows and pet on them. I got one cow I haven't had in the pens in 5 years. If I ever decide to sell her, I am gonna have to catch her calf near the pens when its only a few days old to get her in there. She not what you call the milkin kinda cow.
