A friend got me to try one of these and it's been one of my best investments.

I'll put it up here so you can click on it.

I was kinda wondering about the glue in that knee but so far it's holding. I went completely upside down a couple of times but it sored me up so I'm sticking to 60 or 65 degrees now.

This is not the one I bought but it's got the best info I've seen. 100% happy and the back injection guy and surgeon must be wondering where I went.

I get in my truck about 8:00am and go to the ranch. I am upright all except for about an hour during and after lunch. I leave the ranch about 2:30 and on the way home I have compressed so much that I have to adjust my rear view mirror in the cab. From this information do you think this contraption would be any help to me? Do you drive enough to notice this compressing if it is happening to you too? (NT) -- ZD, 14:43:22 05/29/07 Tue
- My L5 and 6 are degenerated with arthrosis, but it seems like the bulge in my neck and all the other junk with the disks and bone spurs cause me as much low back problems as anything. They had a machine in therapy that kept your shoulders and body from moving and it slowly pulled up your neck for about 20 seconds then released it for about 15 seconds then did it all over again. Worked on a hydraulic contraption. But did me more good for my whole body then anything. Seen and heard people who have went to this new machine that stretches your whole body. Claims it creates enough temperary gap in between all your disks that it relieves the pain. I might have to give it a try. (NT) -- Varmit, 18:42:29 05/29/07 Tue
  - ZD, I didn't know about your stroke either, I think you would need to ask your Dr. before tilting like that and running the blood to your head. Like that website says, most of us haven't hung upside down since we were kids on the monkey bars and it takes a little getting used to. If your Dr. gives you the OK, I'd say there's no doubt it would help. I've been going to chiropracrors for around 35 years but really looking like I don't need one anymore. Of course, you would want to start out slow, maybe only slightly past level, and drop it some every few days. It has an adjustable strap on it that allows you to set it like you want to. It has a hieght adjustment on it for different people and I'll swear I started out at 5'10" and now adj. it to 5'11". I'm not an inch taller actually, just seems the stretch has improved over time.     - Varmit, I know of the machine you're talking about and dang near started the program but lucky for me I screwed up and went to the wrong office complex for my first consultation and when I found the right one they were locked up for the night. About that same time I talked to a guy who also was getting the lumbar injections and he had bought one of these things and wanted me to come over and try it. He was so convinceing, I instead headed to town and bought one for 134 bucks. That computerized stretching program is 6000 bucks for 25 treatments and no insurance is approved, at least not out here. I can tilt and stretch and stand back up and seem to be doing the same as they do, but doubt they would admit it.
