Subject: A 5 inch rain out here is when the rain drops are 5 inches apart. Nice job on the letter.
In reply to: Varmit 's message, "ZD.... we finally got rain. 5 inches here at the house last night. But I was in north Florida, where things are really bad from the drought. But that Tropical Storm followed me up there and brought them some rain. By the time I got back home this evening that 5 inches of rain from last night was all dried up." on 18:02:57 06/02/07 Sat

  • Good for you!!! I have a hay crop ready to cut and rain forecast until Tuesday. On top of that I can't get hold of my hay bailer guy. Got a new one on standby but he's kinda' a nut and hope I don't have to use him. If I have to wait until the latter part of the week the protein content will go way down. I like to put up high quality hay and with the price of fertilizer and bailing, low quality hay just isn't a bargin. (NT) -- ZD, 05:58:41 06/03/07 Sun
