I know what you mean. I too love the mountains. I love to watch the sun set out of the front door of my cowboy bunk house. In my mind I can see mountains. It helps though if I have had a couple of glasses of wine. The dang mountains are 650 mi. away. 950 mi. if you want mountains with trees on them. This boring old prairie sure grows good grass though. - Well after a years drought, only in Florida can you go from severe drought to pastures under water in a matter of a couple of weeks. 15 inches of rain in July so far. 5 in the last 3 days. Drought was looking better once we got that big rain the first of June. Grass down here just needs a kick start the first of summer then will grow with just the morning dew.
