Had an uncle on my wife's side had 2 of them done at the same time. Was just over a year ago when we were out there this summer. He still hobbling around on them. Had a cousin had 1 done about the same time and she is going strong. So I think one at a time is the best bet. I tried to get him to do both at once but he just didn't want to do that. Gave me a number of reasons against it and number one was blood clots. A friend died from a blood clot after having one replaced so I didn't I guess that best to split them up.
