You should brag Hap... thats great news... I heard barrel racing was for girls..... so thats off my list.... back to the Timed Event Championship.... Paul Teirney is the one that is impressive... must be about 55 or older now. Seems he hangs in there every year. Back to the weather... 600 on their drought chart is severe.... and we at 600. Hoping rain from gulf makes it across, cuz I done ran out of water flowing to one pasture and its drying up fast in another from the flow well. -- RODEO RAMBLINGS

She won 3 buckles at the end of the winter junior rodeo series and they hadn't been keeping track of points and she didn't have a clue she had won them, She had not won one before and she said she " freaked out " when they called her name to come up. She won the barrels, goat tagging and flag race and the thing that I'm most proud of is her parents never pushed her or got excited about it if she screwed things up, just kept encouraging her and letting her have fun and that's important. Here's hoping you get some rain soon. Out here there's places where hauling drinking water to livestock is an every day chore but most places find pretty good water wells. I'm only messing with you and your chance to further your rodeo carrer by barrel racing, but looks like that could happen. Does Paul have a son that's placing at some rodeos?
