Subject: Just so you know Hap... I am not trying to argue with you on this.... just curious about a few things stated.... they said...."During those 10 years, 202 people had a heart attack. Just over 10 percent (23) of those heart attacks occurred in people who were jobless after being laid off. In addition, 140 people suffered a stroke. Close to 24 percent (33) of those strokes occurred among the jobless, and 9 percent (13) occurred just after the person lost his or her job, the researchers found.".... So does that mean that 90% of those still working of the 202 had heart attacks while having a job and 75% of the 140 of those still working had strokes?
In reply to: Hap 's message, "In this case they are talking about guys that lose their job for one reason or the other and are not of retirement age but are faced with trying to make ends meet after loosing their job. It happens." on 10:30:20 06/22/06 Thu
