Subject: Well one of them sued the barrel racing association and they threw it out of court. Women can team rope, ride broncs, whatever, but the men cannot run barrels in the womens barrel racing. They use to have lots of good barrel racings at PRCA rodeos that were not sanctioned by the WPRA. I think the new generation does not know about that. They think the WPRA has been controlling the PRCA rodeo barrel races since the beginning of time. Also I think in the long run it will be better for the top girls, belonging to the PRCA as far as sponsorships, etc. They will be representing the PRCA at the rodeos instead of the WPRA and I think more opportunities will open up for them. But thats just my opinion.
