Subject: Those bronc saddles and a couple of practice horses sure make it sound simple to raise a couple of sons. My boys roped early on,and ran the barrels and poles till they were eleven or so, but we made our own horses and on two different occasions I had somebody mouth off about it must be nice to be able to afford high dollar horses that poor folks can't compete against. Ha, I paid $2000 for one and $2500 for the other and at the time I had to take out a loan and make payments on them.
In reply to: ZD Ranch 's message, "I don't think BelTex would pay that for 15 truck loads of horses. Of course their horses don't chase many barrels." on 13:41:14 03/29/06 Wed
