Subject: The gal appreciates the horse and was nearly speechless when I called her and offered it to her. I even hauled the horse 75 miles but I was going any way. I gave her the guys name and address and told her to write him. She didn't do it. She's not a bad person or I wouldn't have asked to give her the horse. She just never did get arround to writing the letter. I am following up on it and I am sure she'll get-R-done. Eventually.
In reply to: Hap 's message, "ZD, I have to hand it to you, you're handling that just right. No doubt the gal is grateful, and if she bumped into the guy that owned him, she would more than likely be really gracious about it, as is usually the case. Like I told Gene, there's no telling how many wedding and graduation gifts we've given that we don't really know whether the mailing address was correct or not, and that would be nice to know if they actually recieved them, although we will never write anybody off as a lost cause and call them worse than ARA's because of their lack of sending a note. That's why Gene took a hike and took a dump on everybody that he considers coming from our world. Come to think about it, I don't thank God near enough for all I've got, and wonder if Gene does. Should God give me and Gene the boot? Nope, takes more than that." on 14:58:27 04/04/06 Tue
