.^. The wizard watched Sereignia put a magical barrier between her and the darkness. He sighed, quite upset and surprised his magic didn't work against hers. But he didn't say anything. He thought for a moment. What could he do? It was very well obviously this was not the end. His eyebrows 'popped' up as a cleaver idea came to mind. It was the perfect thing to do.
"You want to play like that? Well I'll play fair too."
.^. The wizard said, rubbing his staff with his fingers that held it. A very grim smile on his face. He walked towards the barrier that held the non-magic folk and he looked at them 'pitifully'.
"Which one of you is the lucky one today?"
.^. The wizard said sounding very sure of himself.
"Ah, well it looks as if all of you are in this barrier. Why have one barrier when you could have-"
.^. He paused, raising his eyebrows once more.
"two?"
.^. He broke into a 'to himself' cackle. Looking once more at the group inside the orb with slim eyes he suddenly stepped back and held his staff before him, pointing it towards the orb. He knew that he wouldn't be able to take the orb down and wasn't going to make a fool of himself trying. He had a much better mind than that. A dark purple like mist flowed from his staff and as it got closer to the orb it began to thicken. The mist surrounded the orb making it look as if the people were lost in fog. As the people disappeared from sight, the mist began to harden and form a hard, magical orb around the other orb.
"There. That looks fair to me!"
.^. The wizard said setting his staff down on the ground. He let go of it (and it stood up with no help) and he brushed his hands back and forth on each other as if wiping his hands from a long, stressful, dirty job. He laughed once more. He turned and glared at Sereignia. He grabbed his staff, not trusting Sereignia's power.
"Impenetrable by any magic. Good or Dark. The only way to get this down is to get me to do it. Now, because I'm nice, the two awake ones will be able to simply walk out of the barrier. But I will make it so the elf cannot pass through it."
.^. Without looking at the orb that held the elve(s) and human(s) (what is Iya?) he pointed his staff towards it and muttered some hearable but not understandable words. A straight but strong light that was yellow as lighting shot towards his orb. The light hit the orb and made a loud shocking noise that didn't even make him blink. The light looked as if it had gone into the the orb but its power had simply filled the darkened magic's orb. Now anyone could get in or out, with or without magic other than the elven one, magic or no. The wizard turned to Sereignia once more.
"Poor dear,"
.^. He said, not sounding sincere at all.
"I am soo sorry about this."
.^. He said, eyebrows raised. He turned around and while he turned he disappeared...To who really knows other than him?
