It was a very disappointing game for me to watch, although with the state of my eyes it was hard to see any detail anyway. Probably just as well. In the end I couldn't watch it any longer and the rest of the family had had enough and wanted to turn over to the cricket. Normally I'd put up a fight because I don't want to miss anything but I had the VCR going anyway, just in case we somehow came back and won it. It's only one game so I'm keeping positive, but if we drop round 2 I'd be expecting the worst - a season like 2000, although it's so hard to believe we could ever get that bad again.
