Welcome to Equestria Lives On
Hola, and welcome to Equestria Lives On! A few years back, me'n'callie had this kickazz game called Equestria. The main focus of Equestria was racing, showing, and breeding SIM horses. Well, I'm kind of re-starting a simpler version of Equestria, but instead of racing and showing, it's going to be a wild horse RPG. And best of all, it's ALL simplicity. No multiple message boards, no "sister games" or millions rules. Just one message board where you can do whatever you want. There are a FEW guidelines, however, but after you skim through them, feel free to fill out the form in the bottom and post away!
Rules
I really don't want all kind of mystical horses and pegasus' and unicorns and stuff. This is a HORSE game, and although there are going to be good and evil horses (see joining section) I think a lot of magic would make the game boring rather than more fun.
Stallions can fight mares or stallions (within reason, keep in mind mares almost never fight stallions and vice versa) and can have territory.
Mares can fight mares or stallions (again, keep this realistic) but may not have territory UNLESS they do not belong to a herd and there is no stallion occupying the territory.
No powerplaying. Ex. You cannot say "Gypped reared up and came crashing down on Star. She felt the bones crunch beneath her and Star fell to the ground." What you COULD say would be "Gypped reared up and came crashing down on Star." Inflicting wounds is fine, deciding what they are for a horse that isn't yours isn't.
Yes, you CAN breed in here. Just don't make it TOO graphic, and don't put too much intimate detail since we're all looking at the same board. :X
Stallions can steal mares, territory, WHATEVER. And they can steal mares against their will..it just adds a twist to the whole stealing process.
Settle fighting over territory or whatever however you want. If you want me to judge, I will judge on who had the best description and was the most realistic. Just e-mail me at TaYLiN52@aol.com or post a notice on the board under "Judge"
Stallions post when you're claiming territory, so I can keep track. I would like whatever you name the territory and maybe a short description. I will probably limit the territories so stallions will have to fight for them, but I won't do it if you guys don't want to.
Keep everything within reason..I will intervene when necessary. :)
Joining
Keep in mind, you can join as many horses as you will stay active with.
Alright, before you join, I should probably explain a little about good and evil. You MUST pick a side for your character, you cannot be neutral. In essence, if you're neutral, you don't believe in fighting and killing so you're good. I'm NOT saying that good horses all get along and never fight over territory. That's not realistic. Good horses can be just as territorial or whatever as evil horses. The difference is basically that evil horses are more solitary, cruel, and controlling. Sometimes there'll be an evil mare/stallion that's a total loner, and that'll like, try to kill any other horse that comes near it. The other good thing about having good and evil is the ability to form armies of sorts to fight good vs. evil. I dunno, whatever you guys want.
Post this form and a descriptive paragraph (something like: "Gypped enters and whinnies to the other horses" but spice it up, this is everyone's first impression of you.)
