Went to the concert on July 6th in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Some of the KORN fans were real assholes!! Fingering the band, and throwing a glass of beer on Doug!! I just wanted to write this in hope that maybe Wes, Paul, Greg or Doug would read this and know that we Puddle fans realize full well, these pricks were just a group of brainless idiots. I was in the front row on the floor and stood next to a large group of Puddle fans. They were there ONLY for Puddle, of course. Great band, great lyrics, very COOL!! I had a back stage pass and was able to meet one KORN member, (bass player, Fieldy, nice guy),the only band member I met that night. But I understand after the way that certain "pencil-dick KORN fans" treated Puddle as to why they didn't want to meet anyone from Iowa that night. I just want to tell Puddle how sorry I am, I know this is not the first or the last time this will happen, but I really hated it happening in my home state! I’m still wondering why Fred Durst would pair these two, very different bands. I saw Puddle in Des Moines in April, they were HOT! Then I saw them in Chicago on the 5th of July, they were great and held up really well considering that they took some abuse from KORN fans that night also. Puddle is an AWESOME up and coming band, and will only further their success. Puddle’s lyrics are up-beat, not the “slit-your-throat” stuff of the other bands. We have enough nasty crap in life to not want to hear more in our music. Thanks for cool concerts and great rock. From an Iowa Fan.
