Whenever I touched them or looked at them for a long period of time, I felt some energy, some power. I also spotted a deer & when I got closer to it, I felt a bit of energy from it. Yet when I neared a grizzly bear the energy seemed to ebb away. But it is not all that does...The gold also flames angrily, and the surge of power she gets when she picks it up makes her muscles flex in satisfaction. And, of course, the wine sends delicious tremors down her back, even more potent than it would have been normally. A thought strikes her and she pours a few drops of the wine into the youth-blood, and drops in the small chunk of gold. Then she recorks the mixture and holds it tightly in her talons as the energy from all three battle each other out for their place as her number one component. The blood bubbles and boils, and the gold melts, creating gleaming swirls, while the wine creates glittering froth; the vial threatens to crack, but holds. Eventually the components settle themselves and the result is a sunset-colored mixture in the vial, bubbled on the sides, swirled with gold; she tastes it with the tip of her tongue, and it is truly divine, and gives her a surge of energy; she stifles the urge to drink it all in one gluttonous gulp, knowing it would serve her well to heal her in battle. She removes the tendon from the magpie wing, and binds it tightly around the cork of the vial,then ties it around her neck, making sure it is secure with a pinch of her talons. The tendon is short, and it forms a choker around her neck, while the glittering diamond-and-sapphire, given her by Raistlin, shines below it.
