Gripping a lamp in his teeth and with a hawk upon his shoulder, Farhan returns to the outside world. *Zaevibri,* he addresses the hawk, *We're looking for a white mare and foal. They should be somewhere in these Caverns.*

*I'm on it,* comes the response, as Zaevibri lifts of from his shoulder. *Wait here. I'll go and find them.* As he flies into one of the tunnels, he Sends back, *But you know, I'm really supposed to scout for danger, not lost mares and foals.*

*Well then, O Mighty Scout, how about you scout for them because they might be in danger, for all I know?* Farhan responds cheerily.

All that he gets back are some mental grumblings about a lack of appreciation. Farhan settles down to wait for the hawk's return.
