In that one instant of distraction, just that one, the steed attacks. Crystal flashes blindingly in the sun, as it flashes forthward, slicing 'cross opponent's chest. Jugular remains safe, but barely; once more, silver stains the blue. He dodges back; hoof of opponent misses its mark. Whirling, he flings both hooves t'wards opponent's barrel. They hurtle t'wards their target; a freight train could barely match them for power, and greased lightning would be surpassed in speed. The move is completed; he whirls. Weight is transferred to masculine haunches; halfway, he rises into the air, deadly hooves flying t'wards the other. Would he succeed, or would he not?
