The stallion made no move towards the mare, instead he stayed where he was. He watched her carefully, then looked away. Life was so different from death. He was used to watching people without them knowing he was there. Life was so much more complicated, but so much more than worth it. He turned to River Heart, and spoke to her. "What has the alliance done so far?" He asked quietly.

River turned her attention from the one called Forbidden to Ikkiarita. "Not much. We have moved around a few times, but no real plans have been made."

The stallion nodded, and moved away from the group again.

River watched the stallion leave, but this time followed him. "Is something wrong?"

"Yes." He said softly. "And no." The stallion sighed. "I hope the alliance does not decide to kill anyone. I've been there River Heart, it's not a nice place. I wouldn't be able to kill anyone if that was the descion."

River Heart stood silent, sensing that he had more to say.

"I keep thinking about something fate said to me. It asked me what i would have to give if i came back. I told it i didn't know." Ikkitarita paused. "If it comes to killing, then would my coming back been a mistake?"

River answered softly. "If fate brought you back, then there must be something you can do."

Ikkitarita nodded quietly.

River returned to the group, leaving the stallion alone.
