The stallion paces the territory, that contains but two mares, neither of whom he has seen in some time. He decides he must get more mares somehow, prehaps ask some in a nearby territory to join him.

The steel nods to the filly, pleased. His herd is beginning to grow. He nuzzles her, hoping to put her at ease. He hopes she will be happy in this valley.
