the large Malinois pads towards the station, slowing down to a halt right outside. a large paw scratches at the door until it opens. the male walks through the now open door and pushes it closed behind him before sitting down and waiting to be acknowledged. he was here for a reason. he was a police dog in his old town, but when his partner was shot and killed on the job the force thought it would be best to retire him and turn him into a housepet for some family with a couple kids. that didn't work out. since conception, he was meant to be part of the k-9 force. he was bred and raised at k-9 training base. he thrived on order, obedience, and routine. waking up and laying around the house all day waiting for kids to get home and take him for a walk wasn't for him and he quickly let them know it. so here he was, an ex-housepet dropped off in god-knows-where looking to get back to into his old job.
