It had been the austere decree of Thayet to rather rudely encroach upon the king's domicile: Where he clearly did, in fact, abode -- at least, for most of his time procrastinated. In fact, Daine herself could not discern why he had stayed put with his throne at Tortall: Apparently, the subjects had been incredibly concerned with the lengthy hiatus of their king, thus it was the queen's duty to take her dearest alliances and ride off after that blundering old asura. Daine herself had admitted that mirth was her prowess on those long quests and yet, now their tracking skills (courtesy of Alanna) brought them here, at this anonymous, diminutive and completely... out-of-whack land, vast and expansive (not to mention lush), hurled unceremoniously out into some sort of oblivion. No matter, however, as the houri and her companions rode toward the arches that beckoned the entrada of all mortal beings; disapproval made the skeptical brow arch and the stubborn chin thrust out... This, of course, was the trademark of such a wildmage and so it was time to welcome her dearest alliances to join Jonathon, her king, as well.half-goddess veralidaine sarrasri of tortall |
