"I understand that..." She smiled. "I don't really like to fight, and I have no reason to hate elves, and I really don't. I'm just loyal to the tarlins, and my father trained me to fight, so it's in my blood. When I'm in battle, I lose most rational thought, most emotions, except for the primal instincts of survival and the need to kill." She frowned a bit. "Sometimes it's a bit scary, like I can't control myself, but no one has been able to help me with that problem. I just have learned to deal with it, and I meditate before bed... that seems to help, a little." She sighed and looked up at the dark sky.
