Salaam alaikum--
So it is my understanding from that email that if two people who want to discuss maybe getting married but need to do it through email could do that...

BUT the sister's wali should also read all the correspondence between them and has the right to tell the sister to stop communicating with the brother if he does/says anything inappropriate.

Is this correct?

(Situation here is I could let my guardian supervise, but as far as I know he doesn't use a computer so I'd be the one writing. I live in the middle of nowhere, there's VERY VERY few single brothers here, if any, in the same town as me.)

There are certain conditions were mentioned in this fatwa,first,you should be sure that you can fulfil all these conditions,and you are the one should decide that ,not me or any one else,I have answered your question,but I can not tell you do this or that,its between you and Allah,because you know your self better than any one else.If you need help about special case,I recommend you to discuss it with sis Layla.
